Windsor Arms Hotel Penthouse Birthday Party

October 21, 2015

This rooftop penthouse in the Windsor Arms Hotel is something from out of a movie. Each room is decorated to the nines and I had the pleasure of documenting a 70th surprise birthday for a modern city cowboy!

A band sang rock covers all evening long and staff wore glitter cowboy hats in purple.

A stunning sweet table made in shades of purple was displayed next to lavish florals on a glass table. Macarons, truffles, chocolate bars, mini mousse, and cupcakes were some of the highlights to name a few. Chocolate was clearly a favourite of the birthday boys.

Layering cake stands is an effective and eye catching way to display all kinds of desserts! Here, your eye starts at the cake and then follows the mini mousse around the base where it is anchored.

These roses look so lovely in the crystal vases. They look even more glamorous by cutting them short and displaying them by colour. Here they are displayed in a double row the entire way down the table! Gorgeous!

Florals by Caspar Haydar Design were spotted all throughout the penthouse in lavender, white and green. It felt fresh and spring!

Lastly, French Canadian impersonator, Andre Philippe Gagnon, surprised the guests with his hilarious skit of famous musicians from the 50's to current day. I was absolutely taken by his performance! Not only is he hilarious but his voice is extraordinary!

Surprising your guests with talent always kicks the party up a knotch! This crew clearly knew how to party in style.

I just love these cowboy hats and horseshoe cupcake toppers made out of sugar!

A whiskey bar with candy and chocolates was another feature dedicated for the birthday boy.
