Miller Lash House Wedding

On a perfect July afternoon, I had the pleasure of shooting Jackie and Adam’s gorgeous tented wedding at the Miller Lash House in Scarborough. The day couldn’t be more perfect.
The morning started with ease as we got plenty of portraits and details of the couple in the Victorian styled house on the property.
Jackie’s dress was absolutely stunning. Just look at the detail in the skirt!
The intimate Badeken ceremony was short and sweet, and the wedding ceremony was held under the Chuppah outside on the sunny grounds.
Adam makes his way to the altar to await his lovely bride.
That walk down the aisle can be quite nerve racking for most brides but Jackie looked cool, calm and collected!
It was such gorgeous weather that day. Just look at that blue sky!
The grounds of the venue were beautiful and provided lots of fantastic spots for photos.
A cocktail hour followed on the side patio with a live jazz band and delicious appetizers were aplenty.
A drink in hand always equals a happy guest!
The table centerpieces were made up of lovely floral bouquets in pretty, summertime colours.
Just before sundown we were escorted into the tent with golden rays shining down on the dance floor. The couple entered and got right into the Hora as the sunset shone perfectly on their faces.
This crowd definitely knew how to have a good time!

During the traditional father, daughter dance, the two were joined by the bride’s mother and brother which was a very sweet, family moment.
At night fall, the guests were dancing, cupcakes and grilled cheeses were passed around and the mother of the bride surprised Jackie with a fireworks celebration. We concluded the night of photography with some sparklers in hand and danced around the couple to create some love out of light.
