Toronto Yacht Club Wedding; Jess and Chris

February 23, 2021

This playful twosome tied the knot on Toronto's Island Yacht Club. The laid-back lawn ceremony was perfectly balanced like the couple; with joyful tears and funny jokes. Similarly, the setting too seemed to symbolize the duo with lavish pampas grass and gorgeous white blooms decorated upon a perfectly groomed yet natural lawn.

It was a perfect summer day to celebrate the couple's union. After cocktails outdoors, guests took it inside to the modern club house where dinner and speeches began. The evening of dance went back outside to the string lit patio under the stars.

YACHT CLUB

Jess is the perfect ying to Chris's yang. It doesn't take long to feel the admiration and love between them. Chris is certainly the entertainer between the two and Jess thinks he's most certainly the cats meow.

TORONTO WEDDING

"Here comes the McCracken show" is shouted by Chris's friends when Chris enters a room. (McCracken referring to his last name). More importantly, above all the jokes and witty come-backs, he pays great attention to detail and took upon organizing most of his wedding! With his big character, you might think he can outshine the tiny and sweet Jess, but she can certainly hold her own. She is gorgeous, stylish and beyond her good looks, she balances Chris and jokes back with a feisty yet sweet playfulness. In conclusion, this couple is adored by all!

RECEPTION GAMES

Instead of a bouquet toss, Jess opted for the ribbon cutting bouquet game. A great alternative that hasn't touched Canada quite yet. For example, the idea is to attach multiple lengths of ribbon to the handle of the bouquet. Each unmarried guest gets a ribbon and starts walking in a circle around the bride who holds the bouquet over her head. As guests walk around her, she closes her eyes and blindly cuts the ribbons. The last ribbon in tact, is the winner or the next to be married! How cute and beautiful for photos. I certainly had fun photographing it.

Congrats on your marriage you two. Keep the jokes and fire a flame!
