Restaurant weddings have become more and more popular in the last 3 years. Why? They are more affordable, intimate and keep guest count to a minimum. This simply forces couples to select their very closest friends and family only. A great way to stick to a budget and keep the focus on good food and the most appreciated company.
When I met Aleks and Conor, we clicked almost instantly. They lived just a hop away from my Roncesvalles studio, and we laughed and chatted about all the things we had in common. We almost forgot to discuss the wedding. They had planned a super chill restaurant wedding celebration with around 6o of their most cherished friends and family.
Bridal Photo Session
The couples' photography session began at the church where they both walked down the aisle together arm in arm. Afterwards, we took our time walking through Roncesvalles taking photos of the two-some as newly wed! This no fuss couple session was a brilliant way to get photos in locations that they frequent everyday. They were meaningful locales and fun for me, as they were a source of new inspiration! We headed to their favourite local restaurant in Brockton called Branca. It was a perfectly laid-back afternoon.
We arrived just as cocktail hour had begun and just as the golden hour did too. We had plenty of time to take more candid photos with friends and family.
The evening was spent over a family style dinner and heart-felt speeches. Guests then took the party to the fabulous patio garden where they danced the night away under string lights.
Sometimes, for some, a wedding can be paired down to the most important elements; best friends, family, good food and good stories. It was a night to remember with no fuss and more importantly exuding LOVE.
What can be better than that?
