Cluny Bistro Bridal Shower

June 1, 2020

Hosting a bridal shower for your bestie, your daughter or your sister? Some may dread the idea of hosting a party or the "dreaded" shower, but time have changed and many are opting for some great themes and opting out of some of the boring traditions.

Parisian Themed

Jessica's family hosted a beautiful French themed shower at the perfectly suited Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie in the Distillery District. The restaurant decor in itself is a stunner, so not much work had to go into making this room beautiful!

Opting to make the shower a sunny family style brunch, gave her guests many options to indulge in. From crispy bacon strips, to yogurt and muesli, and of course quiche and croissants too! Mimosa's were handed out to guests upon arrival and the service here is spot on! The space opens up to the patio, allowing the doors to open and let a cool breeze blow in. Guests enjoyed mingling and taking the opportunity to share their heart-felt words with the bride to be.

Dessert Table Envy

Lastly, and lets not forget, the dessert table. A gorgeous floral cake made by the talented Nadia & Co. took center stage, flanked by two chalk boards saying "Made with love" and "One day to remember." Some other sweet treats surrounded the cake in addition to handmade guest favours in perfectly packaged boxes.

All in all, I would say this afternoon was well thought out, theme oriented but not heavily bogged down with endless DIY projects. Guests could spend their afternoon socializing, enjoying great eats and of course getting photographed by yours truly. It was an afternoon to remember. Beautiful memories were photographed to bring the bride back to the days before she became a married woman.
