Caffino Restaurant Wedding; Lauren + Tony

February 10, 2021

Restaurant weddings are perfect venues for small and intimate wedding celebrations. Caffino Restaurant hosted the perfect COVID-friendly atmosphere with a combination of outdoor/indoor dining options. These venues are especially fantastic to host #microweddings safely and organically, which is the latest trend for 2021.

Lauren and Tony were friends in high school and reconnected some years later. They dated for 12 years before tying the knot. If there is anyone to exemplify the beauty of commitment and endurance, it's these two. They ended up having to reschedule their wedding 3 times!! The first time, was a pleasant surprise; the welcoming of their son Myles. The other 2 times, was because of COVID-19. These bumps in the road weren't going to take them down. They were after-all, used to taking things slow.

By September 2020, they had modified a few details to ensure their wedding was a GO! Indeed it happened, and this time with a guest of honour; their adorable son Myles in tow.

MICRO WEDDING

"Our wedding day was perfect and exactly what we imagined. An intimate wedding with close family and friends. Ceremony, dinner and reception all at one location. Romantic setting made possible by Caffino’s location. Exposed brick with complimentary neutrals. Having our son Myles at our wedding was the best thing Tony and I could have ever asked. The path to our wedding day was untraditional but we wouldn’t change a single thing." - Lauren.

CAFFINO RESTAURANT WEDDING

If there is any lesson to learn from 2020, it is to have a back-up plan. With uncertain times like this, society has had to be flexible and creative with making any kind of strategic plan. All vendors have had to learn how to be extra flexible and crafty when it comes to accommodating couple's desires while maintaining the current government restrictions. At the end of the day, the goal is to be married. Ain't nothing gonna stop us from making it happen!

Congrats Lauren and Tony! We are so glad that you could finally celebrate your union, surrounded by the people you care about most.
