Homebody Lifestyle Maternity Session

May 4, 2021

There is something so personal and cozy about an in-home maternity session, isn't there? They certainly help mama and papa-to-be relax, and enjoy in the moment. Best of all, it is easy to look natural in your own home doing the natural things you would do.

Not only is it a more authentic way to showcase this momentous time in your lives, but it also is a great way to remember your home. For many couples, the idea of posing while holding a pregnant belly in various ways in nature seems off-putting. It hardly seems realistic. Especially for the type of couple who hates posing or being in front of the camera. As a result, these lifestyle sessions are a perfect way to document a beautiful and life-changing moment, as naturally as possible.

Jessie and Mathias fell into this shoot quite comfortably. Excited for the arrival of their first baby girl, they gracefully fell into one another laughing and snuggling. Their adorable dog ensured he was apart of as many photos as possible, aware of his position as the "first baby of the house."

Congrats to you both! May you take all the moments of new parenthood in stride and grace. Enjoy in the small victories and learn to accept the new and rewarding impact of slowing life down.
