A Product Launch Rooftop Picnic Event

Paired with the team from 1Milk2Sugars, Olive Studio had the pleasure of creating a product launch event for Nivea's new Oil Infused lotions last spring. Atop the Bisha Hotel, KOST restaurant hosted the overly indulgent floral picnic for 60 key media personnel and influencers. 

The entire floor of KOST was covered head to toe with orchids, cherry blossoms and hints of vanilla and lilac, mimicking the feature scents in Nivea's lotions. Guests indulged in their senses of smell, taste and touch while enjoying sweet treats, pampering hand massages, sparkling rose and of course ample insta worthy photo opps.

Unfortunately the morning of our outdoor picnic event turned into a typical Torontonian spring morning full of fog and rain, so we had to act fast and pull the picnic indoors.

Ombre Picnic

The picnic tables themselves were created out of wooden skids piled on top of one another. An array of cake pedestals, vases and vintage props dotted along the skids in a runner formation. The florals themselves were displayed in an ombre of colour. The floor cushions emulated this ombre design integrity and overall it was eye catching! Although this event design was intended to be outdoors, the light wood decor in KOST was a beautiful and cohesive background. It was an overall WIN! 

Product Displays

The product displays for the lotions were simple and beautiful. Displayed on white risers, the lotion sat alone. A cascade of mauve, pink and lilac florals fell from the risers and along the floor, creating a floral floor bed. It felt dreamy and certainly indulgent! An ice cream cart served insta-worthy cones, reminding us that the feeling of picnic weather is just around the corner. A candy-cart, and gifting take-away cart dotted around the room, creating a clear direction and flow for guests. We created a custom pink ombre jenga lawn game for Nivea, displaying some of their branded hashtags too! How fun! 

Rosé Wall

Another custom installation that we created for Nivea, was a see-through sparkling rose wall. We designed the wall in house, and then had our master of all trades handy-craft the wall. We adhered the wall to a window that sat in-front of the CN tower view and voila! It looked as though the rosé glasses were floating! Lastly, we created a custom cherry blossom archway that allowed guests to feel as though they were in a forest of flowers. A great way to get influencers excited! 

The morning event went without a hitch. Guests were awe-struck with floral beauty, indulged their senses and went home with full bellies, new insta-worthy posts and a purse full of Nivea's new oil infused lotions! Thank you Nivea for the opportunity and 1Milk2Sugars, for partnering in a successful event again!
